Bukit Tagar Sanitary Landfill (Phase 4)

Bukit Tagar Sanitary Landfill is developed on a 700-acre footprint, with an additional 1,000 acres of buffer zone comprising undeveloped land surrounding the landfill footprint. It is set amidst an oil palm plantation in a sparsely populated area in Hulu Selangor district.

 

With a capacity of 120 million metric tonnes, BTSL offers over 40 years of solid waste management solutions for the Central Selangor region. The landfill incorporates advanced environmental safeguards, including leachate and gas management systems, to minimize its ecological impact.
