Project Highlights

Padang Cina Landfill, Kulim

The Padang Cina Landfill in Kulim, Kedah, is a significant environmental concern due to its large accumulation of waste near residential areas, posing risks of air and water pollution. Despite efforts by local authorities to manage its impact, the site remains a challenge for sustainable waste disposal.

In response, there have been initiatives to improve waste management, such as recycling programs and waste separation. However, the landfill highlights the ongoing struggles of managing waste in rapidly growing urban areas, where the volume of waste continues to increase.
